digital minimalism

i have been in front of a screen vying for my attention since i was 4 years old. i have poor to no facial memory, poor memory overall, aphantasia, and no self-control. my inner monologue has started emulating the short form content flow of tiktok by thinking about something else every 10 seconds nonstop. i can hardly get my brain to sit still, be quiet and just take my environment in. you simply just cannot improve your mental health with something constantly trying to steer you to the wrong side

this is how i felt after learning about digital minimalism. i was exhausted, disgusted by myself every time i held my phone.

i'm exploring what exactly i can do. will write about this more in the future.
